Wintersky's Sideplots

This area is for Wintersky's dealings outside the main plot and threads of the campaign.

All subject posts on this thread may be posted to in the comments as typical in-character posting by any character if they are involved in a particular subplot involving Wintersky.  Wintersky and the DM may update the base subject posts as they see fit with pertinent information about each subplot Wintersky is involved in.

On the right side of this page will be a table of contents of the subject posts to follow.

Releasing the Spirits of the Dragon Orbs

This is Wintersky's quest to release the dragon spirits trapped in the artifacts known as The Orbs of Dragonkind.

Her conversation while in Queen Semales' Tomb with the spirit of Vertsepticus trapped within the Orb of Green Dragonkind revealed the need to find a dwarven wizard in her effort to free the spirits of all dragon spirits from the Orbs of Dragonkind.  At that time Aifos explained that a dwarven wizard would be an extremely difficult person to find as dwarves are forbidden by Moradin from becoming wizards.

Timeline

Forgive Us Our Trespasses

Wintersky has met Elenia Thrask, a maid at The Troll's Bridge Inn, and they have become friends.  Elenia shows up for work in the morning obviously suffering from injuries received sometime overnight.

Elenia tells the story of her father's reaction at discovering Wintersky is her friend, attacking her and her mother, Galifee.  Elenia escaped, but she fears for her mother's safety.

Wintersky uses the crystal ball to search for Galifee and discovers that she is being cared for in the hospice of the Orphanage of Visaria.  Wintersky and Elenia go to the hospice and find that Galifee will die if she does not receive regeneration of her damaged spine and brain.  Wintersky uses her resources from the hoard Princess Tangle to purchase a scroll that allows her to perform this miracle.

Imperial Ambassador for the Teton Nation

The ambassador originally assigned to Marshe's Edge and evacuated from there upon the awakening of Drymorjoc has gone missing since arriving in Troll's Bridge.  The Empire is beginning to become concerned, but has not been able to convince the Tetons to assign a new ambassador to dwell in Troll's Bridge.

When it is discovered that Wintersky is in the city, imperial official will approach her assuming she is the new ambassador.

Quest to be Great Shaman of the Tetons

The Tetons have had the same great leader for as long as any Teton can remember.  This is Spiritus Magna Lumina. However, this leader has grown to realize she cannot remain, as she must become what she truly is, a dragon.  After over ten centuries, this wyrm must emerge to counter the prophesied awakening of a great wyrm and relinquish her role as chieftain and great shaman of The Tetons.

As Spiritus did over a millennium ago, she has now sent one shaman each to the follow the four winds.  The one that survives and returns will be made the new great shaman of the Tetons.  Only then will a new chieftain be chosen from among the clan leaders.

As Spiritus' choice to travel the path she tread, Wintersky has ventured north into Tanglewood to see where the winds take her.
