The Floating Tower

The Floating Tower is an ancient keep that has existed on The Mount of Walls, prior to the 1st Wizards' Cataclysm, or above The Crater, since then, for as long as any being on The Mirror can remember. It currently appears to be floating hundreds of feet in the air above The Crater. It in fact is securely grounded in the fabric of the Ethereal Plane, situated near the top of a horn-like spire that juts out from somewhere below the surface of the Material Plane. The keep's magically enchanted walls are ethereally solid and thus actually part of structure of the spire. Therefore, it appears to float in mid-air, when in fact, it is part of the an ethereal stone landmark, only a small part of which can be seen on in the material world.
