What has come over me?  I went into the cave with every intention of doing just what the hirelings did, but when I saw the results, I was stunned...horrified.  I thought I had become the cold-hearted bitch that would not be the least bit phased by such a sight, but the sight of all those dead women and children--even if they were vile duergar--smote my very soul.  How could I have thought I could do such a thing?
