I don't know how many kobolds have even seen a dragon, but now I've talked with one. The green dragon outside the cave is a lady named Princess Tangle. She seems to think she is entitled to the treasure inside this cave though. T'Krosh already told her who I am, and if I become maekrix someday, Tangle wants to be my tribe's patron dragon. I suggested that it might be a good idea. While I'm confident that my kind can overwhelm our enemies with force of numbers and arcane magic, having some dragon muscle is always an asset. I am worried, however, that Princess Tangle may not be the sort of dragon I want to associate with. She must have eaten many of the humans in Redemption, and I am trying to get kobolds and humans to live together in peace.

Princess Tangle aside, the rest of the day was terrible. I had to help cut down a path of trees so we could take our wagon back to town. The work I don't mind, but why couldn't it be in a nice cave with a pickaxe instead of outside with the burning sun? I scorched as many trees as I could, but I only have so much magic in me per day. I'll save a painting for later; my arm is too tired from woodsmanship.
